Today is Intersex Awareness Day and we ask everyone to join in the prayer shared by our friend Small Luk:

May the God have mercy on Intersex people who are experiencing suffering!

May all intersex people be safe.

Pray that the medical system will no longer perform unnecessary and inhumane genital modification surgery on Intersex children.

Pray for parents of Intersex and societies accept the existence of Intersex people.

Pray that Intersex people and their families get sufficient physical and mental support.

Pray for Intersex refugees to be freed from plight and receive proper care and protection.

Pray for disaster relief groups and medical staff to pay attention to the special needs of Intersex people during the disaster.

May God hear our prayer, Amen.
