Use of Names and Pictures
We, the providers of this website, are part of the LGBTI+ community. We know that, in a lot of countries, it is not safe to be “out of the closet”. This is why the European Forum of LGBTI+ Christian Groups is careful with using names and pictures on this website:
Generally, we only use only first names but no last names.
Some people gave us permission to use their full names or photographs.
Others are public figures, who may be mentioned with their full name and shown on pictures.
If you find your name or picture is on this website and do not agree with that, please contact the webmaster team and it will remove the information immediately. If, on the other hand, you recognise yourself and would like to be mentioned with your full name, please do not hesitate to contact the webmaster team either.
Access Logs
The European Forum of LGBTI+ Christian Groups collect information about your use of our website, including the type and version of browser, machine and device you use, access times, usage times, launches, pages viewed, debug, your shortened IP address, the page you visited before navigating to our website and other statistics. As a general rule, logs are stored for as long as necessary, anywhere between one and 30 days.
Contact Forms
If you use one of our contact forms, we ask you for your e-mail address and name (feel free to use an alias of your choice). These will be transferred to and stored by the addressee as an e-mail. The data are handled with care and only for the purpose of fulfilling your request. They will not be transferred to a third person or used for marketing.
Cookies
“Cookies” are small text files, which are stored in your browser. This site does not use any cookies.
Newsletter
We distribute our newsletter “Rainbow Report” and our press releases using the service Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA). We use the data provided to Mailchimp via its interface only to send you the newsletter or press releases and keep track of our coverage. Your data are stored on their servers securely and only for the duration of your subscription. You can find further information in Mailchimp’s privacy policy.
Disclosure, Deletion, and Suspension
At all times, you have the right to gratuitous disclosure of your personal data, their origin and recipients, the purpose of data processing as well as a right to correction, suspension, or deletion of these data.
