Annual Conferences

Each year, the European Forum of LGBTI+ Christian Groups hosts an annual conference, typically around Ascension Day. These gatherings unite member groups, allies, theologians, and advocates from across Europe to engage in worship, workshops, and discussions focused on faith, inclusion, and human rights.

Upcoming Conferences

2026 Annual Conference:

Bergen, Norway

Theme: All Things Made New: Shaping a New Identity

The Norwegian organizing committee are happy to welcome you to Bergen for the Annual Conference 2026 of European Forum of LGBTI+ Christian Groups!

Location: Bergen, Norway
When: Wednesday 13th May – Sunday 17th May

We are thrilled to invite you to join us in shaping this year’s gathering, which will take place in the beautiful (we think :)) – and often rainy – city of Bergen.

The theme for the conference is: “All Things Made New: Shaping a New Identity”

Inspired by 2 Corinthians 5:17:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”

With this verse we would like to focus on wholeness and hope at the intersection of identity and community. Together, we will explore how community can offer protection and strength in the face of marginalization, discrimination, and persecution.

Workshops and Pre-Conferences

When you register, you are welcome to propose workshops directly in the registration form. Your ideas and creativity are essential to making this space vibrant and meaningful!

We already have facilitators for pre-conferences for Forum Sisters ++ & Roman Catholic Church Working Group. We have not received any suggestions for facilitating a youth pre-conference, og Mens Pre-Conference. If you or your group would like to host one, you can either chose Other?, or feel free to email us at: conference@lgbtchristians.eu.

Arriving earlier, or leaving later

For those of you who would like to stay a few days extra in Bergen and at the same hotel, just send us an email once you’ve registered, and we’ll provide you with a link where you can book your stay.
