Our Work
The European Forum of LGBTI+ Christian Groups is involved in a range of ongoing initiatives that support our mission of inclusion, justice, and equality. From advocacy efforts to community outreach and resource development, these activities reflect where our energy is focused and how we live out our values in practical ways. Explore what we’re currently working on across our network.

Mentoring Programme
After successfully running two Mentoring Programme rounds in 2014-2019, we are currently running Mentoring Programme 3.0. Our mentoring programme brings together LGBTI+ Christian activists from different regions in a structured, long-term exchange. Unlike traditional models, it is built on mutual mentoring: each participants contributes both as a learner and mentor. This creates a partnership of equals, where sharing experiences and offering support go hand in hand.
Over 18 months, participants:
meet regularly online in mentoring tandems
visit eachother's contexts and ocllaborate on small joint porjects
take part in gatherings at the Annual conferences and mid-term meetings
Reflect together through shared learning sessions and evaluations
The programme runs from May 2024 until December 2025.

RICE-2
The Rainbow Index of Churches in Europe (RICE 2025) is a research project that evaluates how inclusive churches across Europe are toward LGBTI+ people. Building on the first edition from 2020, we’ve updated our methods, added new indicators, and expanded our diverse academic team, all guided by an Advisory Committee.
The new edition was presented in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on October 11, during a conference for influential and supportive Christians from across Europe, organized by the European Forum.
