Our member Enric Vilá has written the book Queer Christians - rethinking LGBTIQ+ Experiences.

Queer Christians presents four relevant sources in LGBTI and queer theologies: the Bible, the Ecclesial Tradition and the Magisterium on marriage. The analysis goes further, incorporating LGTBIQ+ Experience of persons, local churches and Christian LGBTIQ+ networks, communities on the border/s, mainly in European ecumenical dialogue.

This book aims to describe what are the most significant facts within each theological source and to point out most recent remarkable knowledge according to the “signs of the times”. The result sought is to provide updated elements that allow rethinking the inclusion and recognition of all LGBTIQ+ people in all Churches and society.

The analysis is made from the queer “liberationist” current, the one experienced by its author and the communities he belongs to.
