This past weekend (11-13th July 2025) 28 trans and non-binary Christians aged 20-70 met in Zürich, Switzerland for a weekend with the theme Trans Joy.

We participated in workshops and panel discussions about trans joy and gender euphoria, as well as grief, anger and hope. We also went to the city for an evening and took a swim in the river. The weekend ended with a worship service with queer songs and communal sermon.

This event was organised by the European Forum of LGBTI+ Christian Groups in partnership with Reformierte Kirche Zürich with the support of LGBTIQ Fachstelle of the Reformed Church of Zürich, Transblessing (Sweden) and Sybils (UK).
