May is coming closer. The preparation team is very busy in building an attractive programme for you. We will give you an impression of our plans and an overview of how the conference week is planned.
Then a word about registration. As you don’t have to plan your journey, just block your diary. We still need some time to sort a few things out before we open registration. We hope to do that at the end of February, maybe the beginning of March.
Conference programme
The programme of the main conference is as follows:
Thursday evening | 6 May 2021 | Opening Ceremony |
Friday evening | 7 May 2021 | LCC+ Projects in the Netherlands and Europe |
Saturday morning | 8 May 2021 | Daily prayer Workshops – first round Presentation Rainbow index |
Saturday afternoon | 8 May 2021 | Panel discussion Rainbow index Workshops – second round Open Church Service |
Sunday morning | 9 May 2021 | Farewell service Presentation Switzerland |
Annual General Meeting
The AGM is planned on Saturday afternoon 1 May 2021.
The meeting of the Forum Friends needs to be held before the AGM and is thus planned on Friday evening 30 April 2021.
For new participants we also have a meeting, as the AGM is an important part of the way the European Forum operates. We decided to plan this meeting also before the AGM on Friday evening 30 April 2021.
Pre-conferences
There will be space for pre-conferences on Sunday 2 May 2021. The preparation team will facilitate these pre-conferences, but not organise them. More information follows as soon as we know more.
Activities during the week
It would be great to have a whole week of activities! These are our ideas:
- each day from Monday up to Saturday there will be a daily prayer, available on YouTube from early in the morning. The prayers will stay online for some time, so you can pray later on the day or even after the conference
- in the evening there’s room for all sorts of things: we can plan additional workshops and meetings in small groups to chat or play games or you can organise things yourself.
