Registration for the 2020 Online Conference of the European Forum
This year’s conference in Budapest had to be cancelled due to the pandemic, but the organisers and the European Forum Board decided that the year shall not pass without at least an online conference. So, we are happy to announce that registration for the 2020 Online Conference of the European Forum is now open. The conference will be held over two weekends (3–4 October and 9–11 October 2020) via Zoom.

LGBTI+ People of Faith Oppose Polish Proposal for “Reparative Therapy Clinics”
The European Forum of LGBT Christian Groups and Global Interfaith Network for People of All Sexes, Sexual Orientations, Gender Identities and Expression are deeply outraged to find that the Episcopal Conference of Poland, gathering all Roman Catholic bishops of that country, has issued a paper on 28 August 2020 which states the necessity to create “clinics to help people seeking to restore their […] natural sexual orientation.” They also deeply regret the Polish Government endorsing such a proposal, as Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated when he took questions from Radio Rodzina, quoted in the Polish newspaper Gazeta on 29 August 2020.

They also need to make sure that their responses are comprehensive and take into account the needs of all people, including minority groups and the most marginalized people.
